Nick Pace (TSMMA) vs Ricky Bandejas -Bantamweight Title Fight

Pace wins via submission at 2:51 of Round 1

A triumphant return to competition for Pace, capturing the prestigious CFFC Bantamweight Title, formerly held by teammate Jimmie Rivera. Pace made quick work of Bandejas using his superior grappling skills, catching Bandejas with a guillotine while he was shooting in for take-down. Pace has long been known as a submission artist dating back to his creation of the “Pace Choke” back at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale.

Here is what Pace had to say following the title victory:

“I was so emotional at the end of that fight,” Pace said after the win. “I’m an emotional kid. It’s been so long. I’ve been on such a journey from where I started when I was 10. When you get to the UFC and you start taking stuff for granted, it bites you in the ass, and that’s what happened to me. So, I took time off and I had to give back. The win tonight was huge just for me personally. This was tremendous.”

“Tiger Schulmann has played a very big part in my life. I don’t know where I’d be right now [without them],” said Pace. “They play a huge part in my life. 19 years of my life, I owe it to them. Now, it’s time for me to give back. I’ve been saying it all week. This fight isn’t for me. If I can get back into the UFC, I’d love to be in the UFC. That’s a huge deal. This fight was for my family.”

Stephen Regman (TSMMA) vs Darrell Horcher – Lightweight Title Fight

Horcher wins via TKO at 3:23 of Round 3

Regman challenged champion Horcher, 12-1, for 3 competitive rounds for the CFFC lightweight title. Both fighters were carrying impressive winning streaks heading into the CFFC 52 main event, with Regman winning his last 5 bouts and Horcher winning his last 4. The two put on quite a show, with Regman edging out Horcher on the scorecards for the first 2 rounds. The 3rd round saw Horcher catch Regman with a body shot that sealed fate of the challenger. Horcher was able to defend his lightweight title but also left the cage with a broken arm due to his battle with Regman. Expect to see Regman back in the cage early 2016, as he continues his quest to be champion.
