Jimmie Rivera (TSMMA) vs Marcus Brimage

Rivera wins via TKO at 1:29 of Round 1

Jimmie Rivera announced his arrival to the UFC’s Bantamweight division in stunning fashion scoring a 1st round TKO victory over Marcus Brimage. Jimmie’s long awaited UFC debut lasted only a minute and a half, in which Rivera showcased his superior striking over Brimage. The pair wasted no time getting the action started trading punches from the pocket in the center of the octagon. Within the first few exchanges, Rivera stuns Brimage with a right hand, that sends him back towards the cage. Rivera charges forward sensing a finish is within his grasp. Rivera immediately follows up with a barrage of punches forcing the ref to step in and stop the fight at 1:29 of round 1, awarding Rivera the victory. It was quite the performance from the 26 year old especially since it came in his short notice UFC debut. A new bantamweight contender emerged today, and we all look forward to his return to the Octagon.
