New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame to honor Munah Holland

The New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame is extremely proud of its inaugural class of inductees to the New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame. This class will be honored at the induction dinner gala to be held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Meadowlands on December 7, 2012.

On December 7th, Munah Holland (TSMMA North Plainfield) will be honored as the first woman to be selected as “Female MMA Fighter of the Year”.

In 2012, Munah won by KO vs. Carina Damm in Philadelphia, won by KO vs. Marianna Kheyfets at Mohegan Sun on Bellator 63, and won by decision vs. Pearl Gonzalez at Ring of Combat in Atlantic City. She has another fight scheduled in Atlantic City with Bellator on September 28.

Munah is a Master Belt Instructor at Tiger Schulmann’s MMA. She is a 2007 NY Daily News Golden Gloves Champion and a veteran of Chuck Norris’s World Combat League.

She is a New Jersey resident who is a certified “woman safety” instructor and a “bully prevention” instructor. She is also an Inspector with the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board and has worked two UFC events in that capacity.

She represents the sport with class, character and honor.

Also to be Inducted in the Hall of Fame will be TSMMA Fight Team Pioneer Dave Tirelli (TSMMA Elmwood Park) as he will be awarded the Pioneer MMA Fighter Award
