TSMMA Chelsea Head Instructor Lyman Good Signs 4 Fight Deal with UFC

6/24/15 – NYC

Sensei Lyman Good, Head Instructor of Tiger Schulmann’s Chelsea location, has officially signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship Organization.  The Ultimate Fighting Championship Organization, (UFC), is recognized as the premiere Mixed Martial Arts Competition in the world and signing with them has been a goal of Sensei’s Good since he started his professional MMA career in 2005. Good’s distinguished MMA Career highlights include capturing welterweight championship belts at Bellator Fighting Champions and Cage Fury Fighting Championships as well as sporting an 18 – 3 record.  Riding the momentum of a 4 fight winning streak with 3 straight 1st round finishes, Good now has his sights set on his UFC debut on July 15th.

The Valley View Casino Center in San Diego plays host to the Ultimate Fight Night Event on July 15th, where Sensei Good debuts against 6 time UFC veteran Andrew Craig. Craig sports a 9-3 MMA record and is dropping weight classes from Middleweight to Welterweight for his bout against Good. This is an intriguing bout as Good makes his long awaited UFC debut on the merits of an accomplished 10 year career outside of the octagon while UFC veteran, Craig, looks for a fresh start at a new weight class following mixed results at Middleweight. The winner of this bout will start their climb towards becoming an contender in the UFC’s Welterweight division.

This bout is currently scheduled to stream live online on UFC’s Fight Pass platform with an 8:00 pm start time.
