Louis Gaudinot began his martial arts journey at age 6. “I needed an outlet to let our energy and build focus,” he says. He earned his black belt just two years later and today he brings nearly three decades of teaching expertise to his role as Tiger Schulmann’s Hoboken’s owner and Head Instructor.
A celebrated professional fighter, Gaudinot is a former UFC Top Ten Flyweight and competed in season 14 of Ultimate Fighter. But, he says, his primary focus as always been “helping members build their focus and reach their full potential through authentic martial arts.” The “cardio-kickboxing” classes you find at an average gym, he explains, “are taught by someone who’s taken a 2-hour certification class. At Tiger Schulmann’s, my team of instructors apprentices for years and teaches from a proven curriculum to make sure members get results, learn real streetwise self-defense, and stay safe and injury-free.” The most unexpected benefit of Tiger Schulmann’s training “is the people you meet,” he says. “We’re a big family, and many students become lifelong friends through the bond they build training.”
