Jimmie Rivera brings more than a decade of professional mixed martial arts training to his role as a Tiger Schulmann’s Sensei. Having begun his martial arts journey at just 8 years old, he realized that the self-discipline he gained from martial arts extended to all aspects of his life.
Today, Jimmie shares the knowledge garnered over a lifetime of practice to help students of all fitness levels unlock their potential. As a fourth-degree black belt under Tiger Schulmann’s, he takes pride in greeting students and welcoming them to high-energy adult fitness classes where they can become the best version of themselves. The end result – learning authentic mixed martial arts techniques while getting in great shape in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Sensei Rivera is also a professional mixed martial artist in the UFC, once ranked #8 in the UFC’s Bantamweight Division. He was also featured in the first episode of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping versus Team Miller”
