Shane Burgos (TSMMA Woodbury) vs. RJ. Starace – 140lb Title Rematch
Burgos wins via TKO in the 2nd Round. Huge Breakthrough Victory for Burgos, highlighted by his improved striking skills. Burgos punished Starace for 2 rounds with knees and kicks to the body, and dropped him late in the 2nd with a strong punch to the body. Shane is now the Dead Serious MMA 140lb Champion! Expect to see him back in cage soon to defend his belt.
Jovany Alvarez (TSMMA South Plainfield) vs. Ariel Solano (Animal MMA) – 122lbs
Alvarez wins via Majority Decision. Alvarez proved to be too much to handle for Solano, utilizing an array of beautiful takedowns and top control to cement the victory.
