Sensei Holland, in my own words, Bellator, March 30, 2012….

Politeness, Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Courage, Justice, Honor, and Generosity these are the traditional values that were ingrained in me from training for the past 17 years with Tiger Schulmann’s MMA.  These values course through my veins and are still the reasons I continue to pursue being a martial artist.  I do not know why New York will not legalize MMA when it brings such humility and self-discipline to someone’s life.  I so passionately believe in what we teach and how it so positively affects people’s lives.  I love our Team, our Organization, and our students and am extremely proud to be able to share in everyone’s personal evolution.

I want to thank my family for having love, faith and courage in me to help guide me to my successes.  Tiger Schulmann, Master Ron Schulmann and Sensei P. Querido who’s unwavering support and pride in me continues to drive my heart and soul to push forward.  To all Tiger Schulmann students who may never truly know how their encouragement and compassion help me to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I would also like to thank Sensei Villafane for painstakingly pushing me physically and mentally in our training sessions and for always encouraging me to improve.  To Kim McCormick, my strength and conditioning coach, who knows the sacrifices I have made to be at 100% and never waivers in her determination to set new challenges for me to be the very best, thank you for the “Kimtastic torture!” To Ben Hoffman, from In Motion Meals, whose nutritional coaching and guidance from beginning to end was a great part of the reason I was able to perform with full strength of mind and body.

I truly believe there is no obstacle in our lives greater than ourselves, so get out of your own way and just DO IT, whatever IT may be!
