Sensei Will Hamilton Recounts the night’s action:
“On Saturday, November 30, 2013 Jerome Bourne and Nuchem Fischer put it all on the line. Fischer made his amateur debut in Muay Thai. It didn’t look like a debut because he fought with such grace and comfort that his opponent quit half-way through the first round. Fischer lost his last fight by a split decision that could have went either way. That fight motivated him to train even harder and all that hard work paid off with a TKO win. Congratulations to Fischer and look forward to him making his third (3rd) appearance at the Aggressive Sport event in January. Jerome lost his fight by referee stoppage in the second (2nd) round. If you want to talk about heart, dedication, and non-quitting spirit that’s Jerome Bourne. He competed seven (7) times this year in either the cage or ring. He shows an enormous amount of determination when he trains. I strongly believe this is a bump in the road that will eventually be crossed. Congratulations to both men for even stepping in the cage. It take a tremendous amount of courage and bravery to display these types of skills. In addition, I would like to thank all the guys that helped out in the corner. Damien, Steve, Shane, Louis, Bekim, David.”
