Combat at the Capitale 25 Results – Arce Takes Home the belt for TSMMA

2/24/12 – NYC

Odalis Gonzalez (TSMMA Englewood) vs Katie Jankowski (Arlington LA Boxing) – 137lbs

Odalis wins via Unanimous Decision , dominating all 3 Rounds with superior technique and clinch work. Another Impressive performance for the undefeated Odalis Gonzalez.

Ronnie Basu (TSMMA Manhattan) vs Felipe Carlos (East West MMA) – 150lbs

Felipe Carlos wins via Unanimous Decision. Ronnie Basu fought his heart out in this competitive bout, displaying a lot of poise in his Capitale Debut.

Andre Clark (TSMMA Manhattan) vs Alex Melt (Lions Martial Arts Academy) – 155lbs

Alex Melt wins via Unanimous Decision. Similar to Basu, Andre Clark was edged out in a competitive bout. Clark displayed great technique and tenacity throughout the 3 round bout. Expect to see both Clark and Basu back in the ring soon.

Matt Castillo (TSMMA Bayside) vs Dan Arthur – North Jersey MMA – 175lbs

Matt Castillo wins via Unanimous Decision. Castillo fought a very smart and technical fight, picking apart and overwhelming his opponent. Castillo remained disciplined throughout the bout sticking to the game plan and taking in the advice of his coach and corner,  Sensei Gotthoffer. Expect A big 2012 from Castillo as the up and comer transitions to MMA.

Stephen Regman (TSMMA North Plainfield) vs Keston Jamerson (Camp Undefeated) – 168lbs – Tri State Title Defense

Regman wins via Forfeit. Regman’s scheduled opponent was an unfortunate no -show. Regman had trained hard for the bout and was more than ready. He will be defending his title next Saturday, 3/3/12, at the Warrior’s Cup Event in Rahway, NJ.

Julio Arce (TSMMA Bayside) vs Tim Amorim (Sitan Gym) – 140lb World Muay Thai Title Fight

Julio Arce wins via Unanimous Decision. Julio closed the night for TSMMA by capturing the Muay Thai World Championship. Giving up both height and reach to his opponent, Arce used his superior footwork and hand speed to win all 5 rounds. A truly inspiring performance by Arce, that really got the TSMMA crowd on their feet. Congrats to Arce on bringing home another title to TSMMA and adding to his already incredible resume.
