Julio Arce is a professional mixed martial artist hailing from New York City, United States. He began training in Karate at TSK at the age of 12, having turned to sport after being bullied for being overweight. Known for his well-rounded skill set and dynamic fighting style, Arce has competed in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Arce began his professional MMA career in 2012, winning against Kenneth Nagle with a KO, and quickly made a name for himself with his impressive performances in regional promotions. With a background in boxing and a solid foundation in various martial arts disciplines, he has showcased his versatility inside the cage, earning victories against the majority of his 25 opponents through both striking and grappling. 

In 2017, Arce secured his spot on the UFC roster after earning a contract through Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. Since then, he has faced tough competition in the featherweight division, namely Dan Ige, Daniel Teymur, and Herbert Burns, among others, consistently demonstrating his technical prowess and determination to succeed at the highest level of the sport.

Outside of his fighting career, Arce is known for his dedication to his craft and his commitment to giving back to his community. He is the head instructor at TSK Bayside, and is committed to instilling confidence and self-discipline in his young students. Whether inside the Octagon or out, Julio Arce continues to inspire fans with his skill, sportsmanship, and unwavering passion for martial arts.
