Joshu Michael Fischetti has been training his whole life for this moment. Since the time his mother and father enrolled him and his two siblings into Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts when he was just 7 years old, he knew he was going to be great and he would make others great too.
As a student of almost 17 years in the martial arts under Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts instruction, he has proven his talents not only in the ring as an undefeated kickboxer and mixed martial artist, but as an instructor. Even before he could be a certified Tiger Schulmann’s instructor (Joshu) at 18 years old, Michael Fischetti has been training for the day where he could teach classes for kids and adults. Once he passed his certifications at a young age of 18 years old he knew that he wanted to teach students in his very own school one day. Training and teaching in Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts of Staten Island, Joshu Fischetti motivated students towards their goals and enabled people to learn practical and efficient self defense. His personality and energy brought people back in the door each time because they knew he would work with them to bettet themselves each and every time.
A born and raised Brooklyn and Staten Island resident, Joshu Michael Fischetti was always taught by his parents and martial arts instructor to never give up, no matter what task was in front of him. Whether it was in school as a kid, fighting in the ring, or becoming a head instructor of his own school. His competition record says it all. Seventeen wins and no defeats between both kickboxing and mixed martial arts, silver medalist in the New York State Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament, and countless number of North American Grappling Association wins. Joshu Michael Fischetti isn’t just an instructor or competitor, he’s an expert. He’s an expert on how to better your way of life, how to better your body, your diet, your life skill of martial arts, and your overall feeling of self confidence.
