“Empowering my students with the knowledge to defend themselves in any situation is why I do this,” says Sensei Andrew Katz, owner of Tiger Schulmann’s in East Brunswick, NJ. At our East Brunswick, NJ location, we offer kickboxing classes, close range self-defense classes, and submission grappling classes to kids and adults. Our programs are designed for people of all ages, and aresegmented into three groups:
- 4 to 7 years old
- 8 to 12 years old
- 13 years old to adult

How else do we engage the local community?
We run events in support of a charity or organization each year to help raise awareness and donations. Our staff members are also members of the Central Jersey Business Alliance, which is an organization of local businesses that helps support our neighbors. We’re involved with local scouting troops as well.
