Jimmie Rivera is a professional mixed martial artist renowned for his exceptional skills and tenacity inside the octagon. Born on July 29, 1989, in Ramsey, New Jersey, USA, Rivera’s journey in martial arts at the young age of 8, having been inspired by Karate Kid and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  With a fourth-degree black belt in Karate and his time on his high school wrestling team, Rivera has a well-rounded style that has served him well in his MMA career.

Rivera fought and won his first professional fight with the Ring of Combat promotion on September 12, 2008 against Fernando Bernandino. In 2015, Rivera made his UFC debut, quickly making an impact in the bantamweight division. Known for his well-rounded abilities, including striking and grappling, he has faced some of the toughest opponents in the sport, always delivering electrifying performances.

Throughout his career, Rivera has exemplified resilience, bouncing back from setbacks with unwavering determination. His relentless pursuit of excellence has endeared him to fans worldwide, earning respect for his skill, heart, and sportsmanship. After leaving UFC, Rivera decided to switch gears and signed with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in November 2021.
